Teach video and streaming, the way creators actually work.
Pupils plan real videos (ideas, scripts, shot lists, thumbnails and streams) in a safe, school-branded space where teachers set the work, approve what's shared and can see everything.
New schools are checked by our team before pupils can be added.
Built for the classroom
Everything a media, film or computing class needs, with safeguarding switched on from the start.
Pupil logins, no email needed
Type your class list and print sign-in slips. Pupils get a username and password, so it works for any age. Or share a secret sign-up link for a class.
Assignments
Set a task for a class with a brief and a due date. Pupils start it with one click (from your template, if you like) and you see who has started, handed in and been approved.
Teachers approve
Uploads, pupils' public pages and handed-in work wait for a teacher. Approve, remove, or send work back with feedback.
Marking and rubrics
Give an assignment a rubric, mark handed-in work against each criterion and add a grade. Pupils see their marks and your feedback.
Ready-made lesson plans
Lessons with a teacher outline, a pupil brief and a rubric. Set one for a class in a click, then change anything you like.
Group projects
Put a class into groups that share one plan. Everyone in the group works on it, and any of them can hand it in.
Peer feedback
Classmates leave kind, useful comments on each other's handed-in work. A teacher checks each comment first, unless you switch that off.
Storyboards
Pupils sketch each panel on screen (or upload a picture), link it to a shot and add the action, dialogue, camera and timing. Prints out too.
Class and group chats
A chat for every class and project group. Teachers see every message, and can remove messages, mute a pupil or pause a chat.
School, class and group docs
Write together live: rules and guidance for everyone, notes for a class, plans for a group. Print them or download a PDF.
Filter and report
Swearing, phone numbers, addresses, postcodes and social media usernames can't be sent (chat messages wait for a teacher). Pupils can report anything to their teachers in one tap.
Quiet hours and pauses
Close chats and messages out of school hours, and pause a class or group's chat, editing or features straight away, with a note saying why.
Support through a teacher
Pupils can't contact the site team on their own: a teacher authorises a support code, and the teacher and pupil talk to the team together.
On their phones
The mobile app shows pupils their notices and assignments and lets them hand in. Teachers can mark and approve from the review queue.
Safe by default
No sponsors, payments, donations or messaging anyone outside the school. Pupils can message their teachers (and classmates, if you allow it).
See everything
An activity log of what pupils do, and teachers can read pupils' messages. Open any pupil's work to look, or to help if you allow it.
Class templates
Share a starter plan (script outline, talking points, shot list) that pupils copy into their own workspace.
Notices
Post a notice to a class or the whole school. It's the first thing pupils see on My school.
Your school's look
Your logo and colour across the app for your staff and pupils, on sign-in slips and sign-up pages, plus a public school page that can showcase work you choose.
Staff and classes
School admins, moderators and teachers. Teachers look after the pupils in their own classes.
Age presets and a simple menu
One click sets things up for primary, secondary or college. Younger pupils get a short, simple menu and start work only from your assignments.
See what pupils see
View the app exactly as one of your pupils does, read-only, or with editing to fix their work (messages and handing in stay theirs).
Gradebook
Every mark for a class in one table, coloured at a glance, with a CSV download for Excel or Google Sheets.
Class screen
A big timer, a random name picker and a group maker for the board, plus showing pupils' work full-screen without their names.
Class video plans
Plan a video for the lesson, show it on the board, then share it with the class to look at or copy.
Deadlines and a weekly email
Pupils see work that's due soon, you can remind a class in one click, and staff get a Monday summary of what's waiting.
What pupils learn
- Turning an idea into a plan: a hook, a target audience and a title that works.
- Writing a script with talking points, and timing it.
- A/B/C-roll shot lists and a printable shooting plan for filming day.
- Storyboarding a scene: shot sizes, angles and timing, panel by panel.
- Working in a team, and giving and taking feedback.
- Thumbnails, descriptions and chapters, and why they matter.
- Planning a live stream: run of show, overlays and a go-live checklist.
- Music licences and crediting other people's work.
Looking after pupils' data
- Pupil accounts need no email address, and their names and work are encrypted.
- Your school decides who gets an account, and can delete any account and everything in it.
- Nothing a pupil makes is public unless a teacher approves it.
- Run by EB IT Support Ltd. See our Privacy policy.
